Yu Han (she/her) is a Ph.D. student in Environmental Science and a member of the Hydroclimatology Group. Her research focuses on hydroclimatic extremes, particularly the evolution, drivers, and risks of drought and extreme precipitation under climate variability and change. She is also interested in their hydrological impacts and in developing quantitative tools for assessment and prediction. She holds an M.Eng. in Water Disaster and Water Security from the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research and a B.Eng. in Agricultural Water Conservancy Engineering from Hohai University.
