Nia Walker (she/her) is an undergraduate student in the College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University, double-majoring in Environmental & Sustainability Studies and Political Science. Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, her curiosity and passion for nature inspired her to study environmental issues and the impacts of climate change. Nia is part of the Emerging Scholars Research Program in IU’s Center of Excellence for Women and Technology, where she is excited to be learning from a research project focused on understanding rapid climate changes in the Midwest.
